Committee Involvement: Serve on one or more committees, such as the Programming & Events Committee, Fundraising & Donor Relations Committee, Communications Committee, or Community Relations Committee, actively engaging in their activities and initiatives.
Absence Coverage: Step into the roles and responsibilities of other board members when they are unable to fulfill their duties due to temporary absence or other circumstances.
Collaboration and Support: Collaborate with other board members, officers, and committee chairs to ensure effective communication, coordination, and collaboration in achieving organizational goals.
Policy Development: Participate in the development and review of organizational policies, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards.
Fundraising and Support: Actively support fundraising efforts by identifying potential donors, participating in fundraising events, and leveraging your network to promote the charity's mission and secure resources.
Community Engagement: Represent the organization at community events, networking opportunities, and external engagements, building relationships with stakeholders and promoting awareness of the charity's programs and services.
Governance and Compliance: Uphold the organization's bylaws, code of conduct, and legal obligations, ensuring the board operates in accordance with good governance practices and applicable laws and regulations.
